I am passionate about creating, building, and fusing art and technology. As an adolescent, I became fascinated by the entertainment industry. Being raised in suburbia, it's almost impossible to resist tinsel town's magic. Having dreamed of working in Hollywood for many years, I finally got my chance in 2000 at New Wave Entertainment. In the years since, I have worked for studios, vendors, post-houses, video game studios, and print shops all over Los Angeles. My work has been featured in film trailers, main title sequences, game environments, UIs, broadcast promos, and prestigious university lobbies. The majority of my work has been in motion design since 2000. In my early career, I worked in print design. In my role as Senior Motion Designer in Universal Pictures' creative marketing group, I use a variety of tools, techniques, formats, sizes, and media (film trailers, TV spots, main titles, reels, sizzles, Time Square takeovers, streaming campaigns, and social media). As with trailer parks, in-house agencies function similarly. During my 7+ years at the studio, I have contributed to the launch of several classic franchise campaigns and a variety of original projects. In addition to our box office tentpole campaigns, we also work with filmmakers on award-winning small projects.
I previously worked at Trailer Park as an Art Director. Prior to that, I was employed in the video game marketing industry. At Framework LA, I also worked on main titles and trailers. As part of my work at Framework LA, I designed and animated Marvel's first Ironman trailer.
Cycling, hiking, being an artist/craftsman, and being a single parent are some of my favorite things to do in my spare time.
